THROUGH OUR FRENCH IMMERSION PROGRAM, THE FIRST OF ITS KIND IN SOUTH FLORIDA, WE OFFER HIGH ACADEMIC STANDARDS TO OUR MULTICULTURAL COMMUNITY WHILE EXPANDING MINDS, BROADENING PERSPECTIVES AND LAYING THE FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS WITHIN COMMUNITIES WORLDWIDE.
Founded in 1995 by Léna McLorin-Salvant, EFAM is a private school operating exclusively on private funds (tuitions). It was the first French immersion program of its kind in Florida providing French with integrated English education to over 200 students from PreK-3 year old to 5th grade. EFAM operates on two campuses located in South Miami and in Miami Shores. Our school is accredited by the French Government and is a member of the AFSA and the Society for French Schools in North America.
The French-American School of Miami admits students of any nationality and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
