In case of an accident at school, the parents and the emergency responders are called (911). Staff is CPR and First Aid certified. Students along with EFAM staff participate in monthly fire, tornado and hurricane drills. In case of hurricane warnings or other public emergencies, EFAM advises parents to follow the guidelines and recommendations of Miami Dade County Public Schools (via radio, TV or Internet). As stated in our Rules and Regulations, in the event of a hurricane, you are to follow the official instructions of Miami-Dade County which will be announced throughout the media.  Only instructions from the local authorities are to be followed (see links below), the school will not be able to contact you.
