DICTEE DES FRANCOPHONES

The Embassy of France in the United States, in collaboration with the American Association of French Teachers, launched the third edition of the "Dictée des Francophones" during National French Week. This event, designed to engage French learners throughout North America, celebrates the diversity of the Francophonie. Aligned with the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, this edition focuses on sports, featuring texts with French terms. Roseline Filion, a double Olympic medalist and sports columnist, contributed to the dictation of texts and will cover the upcoming Paris Olympic Games, creating an engaging and educational experience for French learners in North America.

This November, the 4th grade students took on the challenge!

They prepared the Dictée des Francophones and discovered Canadian expressions.
