FUNDAYS FEBRUARY 2023 EDITION

We’d like to thank you for your support during our Fundays week.  We are nearing the halfway mark for our $60 000 goal for the year and are at an approximate 50% participation rate from EFAM families.

Thank you to all of the families who contributed this year!

A great big thank you to our donors. A special thank you to :

  • Our biggest donors this year, the Millstein family from the South campus. The Millsteins have won the private dining experience with Chef Jérémy Moscovici. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Millstein!

  • Thank you to the Faber family (North campus), the Grosjean family (South campus) and the Mansour family (South campus). Each family has won an invitation to lunch with their children at school. Thank you for your support!

  • The CM1/4th class (North campus) and the PS/PreK 3 class (South campus) had the highest participation rates during the Fundays. Both classes win a special breakfast with their parents at school. Thank you CM1 and PS families!

What does tuition cover?

Tuition typically covers all costs associated with day-to-day operating of the school such as facility rental, payroll, daily lunches, supplies imported from France, field trips, IT equipment and upkeep, recurring building upkeep, mandatory professional certifications, among other expenses.

What do the Fundays funds contribute to?

Funds raised in our various fundraisers contribute to exceptional expenses such as:

  • Furthering educational practices: professional development seminars that help our teaching staff provide instruction in keeping with the latest research in childhood development (such as Positive Discipline in the Classroom and Collaborative Classroom Practices this school year)

  • Cultural enrichment: such as inviting outside contributors to introduce our students to the arts for example (such as the pottery intervention)

  • Short-term building enhancements and renovations to better serve our students: this includes the leasing and remodeling of new building spaces at the North Campus (to create a student multipurpose room and a library), fencing in the new outdoor space between the school and the new office spaces, renovating the student bathrooms at the South campus…
